Remark:	RPDC would like to reward a green rebate of 5 points per kg. Phone books are made from trees and also a commodity. Since it is widely distributed, a lot of waste will be generated for the waste stream when they are discarded. Demand or no demand like in 1992 and 1994, paper manufacturers should take it back for recycling even though it is cheap. We already have four incinerators in Singapore. We may need to build more if this goes on. When we burn up more hazardous waste, more toxins will be given off and we cannot afford to have that. It is better for us to recycle it.
