RPDC will reward a green rebate of 2 points per kg to vehicle owners when they change their commercial battery. These batteries are acidic and hazardous, it must be dispose properly.
Singapore has a car population of about 2 millions and with the latest encouragement by the Economic Restructuring Committee, it is expected to grow to 4 millions next year. A commercial battery can last 5 to 6 months, therefore, the commercial batteries population will also increase (4 millions cars multiply 2 commercial batteries equal 8 millions batteries a year) Any suggestions?
